Where is training located?

Your workplace is ideal if you have the space and facilities to do so. A suitable classroom will be required with enough tables and chairs, and a large TV, or blank wall/projector screen. The instructor has their own projector, laptop and cables. There also needs to be enough floor space to be able to demonstrate CPR on a manikin. Alternatively, a meeting room booking can be arranged if needed. Quotes will vary depending on the course length and number attending. Buffet lunches can also be arranged upon request. Tea, coffee and water will be provided.

How does your training compare to St. John’s or Red Cross?

We offer the same level of courses and certificates as the leading competitors and our instructors are qualified to the same standard. Check the about page for our credentials. We are able to offer more competitive pricing simply because we are an independent business who pride ourselves in offering a more flexible and accessible service.

Are you insured?

Yes, Training4Life is fully insured with Hiscox Insurance in Public Liability up to the value of £1,000,000, and Business Indemnity up to the value of £1,000,000.

What should I bring/wear?

We will provide all the resources you will need for your course. All we ask is that you wear comfortable, casual clothing for completing practical tasks such as CPR and wound dressing.

I’m allergic to latex gloves, what should I do during training?

We provide latex-free nitrate gloves for our training, in sizes small, medium and large.

I am concerned about mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, what are the requirements?

We will supply each learner with a training face shield and sterile wipes. Please also see our Manikin Cleaning Policy on the Terms & Conditions page.

What are your deposit, payment and cancellation policies?

Please see the Terms & Conditions page for details.

What if I am late to my course?

Once the class has commenced, Training4Life reserve the right to refuse entry and thus certification, and the course fee may be lost depending on the circumstance.

What happens when my certificate expires?

You will be notified of this via email from the student portal at ProTrainings and we would love to welcome you back for a renewal course when required.

How long does my certificate last?

All First Aid certificates are valid for 3 years, except Automated External Defibrillator Training which is valid for one year.

As an employer, which staff should I get trained?
